SuperBuildings. Sustainability and Performance assessment and benchmarking of Buildings. Superbuildings is a R&D European project developed under the FP7 framework by a consortium of 13 European stakeholders. The main objectives of Superbuildings is to develop sustainability indicators for buildings, understanding about the needed performance levels considering new and existing buildings and methods for the benchmarking of sustainable buildings.

 LEnSE. Methodology Development towards a Label for Environmental, Social and Economic Buildings. LEnSE is a R&D European project developed under the FP6 framework by a consortium of 9 European stakeholders, with duration of 2 years (2006-2007). The main objective of LEnSE is to develop a methodology for the assessment of the sustainability performance of existing, new and renovated buildings, which includes environmental, social and economical aspects.

 CEPHEUS. Cost Efficient Passive Houses as European Standards, a project within the THERMIE Programme of the European Commission, Directorate-General Transport and Energy. The main goal of Cepheus is the construction of ca. 250 housing units to Passive House standards in five European countries, with in-process scientific back-up and with evaluation of building operation through systematic measurement programmes. 

SCI-Network, Sustainable Construction & Innovation through Procurement The SCI-Network connects public authorities looking to procure innovative and sustainable solutions within their construction projects. The public sector is responsible for 40% of EU construction activity. Buildings are responsible for 36% of EU CO2 emissions.Public sector construction therefore needs to be sustainable and innovative. The SCI-Network aims to:
